OVERVIEW

The following directions are the fundamental steps that should be followed to design, document and modify subdivision paving and grading tasks using ASE Civil with Civil 3D. The alpha-numeric indices are intended to help identify the sequence during collaboration. The indices also represent the recommended order in which each task should be performed.

The topics below are arranged in the general order of occurrence on the typical subdivision project. The “primary task” is the title phrase contained in the gray header row. The related sub-tasks for each primary task are listed in the white rows below. Each sub-task is followed by hyperlinks to additional webpages containing detailed information about the given sub-task.

If a sub-task contains hyperlinked information that is currently available for viewing, the associated font will have a “bold” typeface.
