Automation Software for Engineering ("ASE")

ASE, LLC is the corporate entity responsible for the development of ASE Civil. It functions as subsidiary of EDI and owns the copyrights to ASE Civil and any other software that it conceives and develops. ASE does not distribute software directly. Instead, it provides licenses to EDI, which then assumes the responsibility of packaging the software, marketing the products, distributing the software licenses, managing client records and supporting clients' users.

ASE was established in 2005 by Nick Merchant simultaneously during the corporate formation of Engineering Design Innovations, LLC. ASE was previously known as "ASE Software Design", a sole proprietorship formed in 2002 by Nick Merchant when the first version of ASE and the first group of 26 licenses, was sold to CMX, LLC in Arizona.
